About us
A small studio with a big love for play.
Kalafs Studios is an independent studio based in Kuwait. We make card games for the Gulf, cozy games for everyone, and a few helpful apps.
What we make
-
Card games
Al Shayeb and Bawan are our phone games for Baloot and Kout, two of the Gulf’s favourite card games.
-
Cozy games
Snowhaven is a warm little town to build in the snow.
-
Apps
Gramoza, PlantWiz, CoinWiz and CalWiz help with everyday things.
What we care about
-
Fair play
Our coins are for fun, never for money. No betting and no cashing out, ever.
-
Arabic and English
Our card games speak Arabic first, with English inside. We write Arabic the way people in the Gulf really talk.
-
Made for grown-ups
Our games and apps are made for players aged 18 and over.
-
Details that move
Light, motion and little celebrations: we polish the moments that make you smile.
